I’m thrilled to share my interviews with Director Brent Wilson and two legendary singers featured in the wonderful documentary about Doo-Wop Music – Streetlight Harmonies! Vito Picone of the Elegants (Little Star) and Ron Dante of the Archies (Sugar, Sugar) talk about the influence of Doo-Wop on pretty much every genre of popular music since the ’50s and tell personal stories galore. Brent Wilson shares the steps it took to get this doc made and what it means to him to shine a light on this hugely important and influential part of American Music History. I am a HUGE fan of Doo-Wop and this documentary is a joy to experience.
